Hollow Knight - Overview & Review Genre: Metroidvania, Action-Platformer Overview: You play as the knight, this little bug that ventures into the decaying corpse that is the kingdom of Hollownest, all to defeat the infection at its core. Rough Playtime: 237.9 Hours Rarest Achievement: Steel Heart (3.6% of players) My Review: So, put simply... Hollow knight is genuienly one of the top ten games I have ever played. it has a deep in depth story that I truly fell in love with the moment I fell down into Kings Pass at the start of the game. you will meet a lovely cast of characters, some just truly amazing bosses, and maybe find a bug or two along the way.

Silksong - Overview & Review Genre: Metroidvania, Action-Platform Overview: You play as Hornet, the princess of Hollownest, who has been kidnapped by strange bugs and brought to the far off land of Pharloom. You are tasked to ascend to the top of the kingdom to find out the reason you were kidnapped. Rough Playtime: 224.8 hours Rarest Achievement: Steel Heart (2.3% of players) My Review: Put simply, Silksong is another masterpeice. Every single faucet that Hollow Knight had Silksong improves on in some way, from the movement, to the combat, to the tools, to the enviorments, everything is just top notch. I have also fallen in love with many of the NPCs (Especially Shakra.) I am extremely happy to have sunken nearly 250 hours into it, and cannot wait for the Sea of Sorrows DLC later this 2026.

Nine Sols - Overview & Review Genre: Metroidvania, Souls like Overview: After waking up after a long fall, you play as Yi, and must go all over New Kunlun to collect the Sol Seals to regain control of his "Eternal Cauldron Project" which was meant to keep a mysterious virus at bay. Rough Playtime: 29 hours Rarest Achievement: Robo Fight! (14.5% of players) My Review: So, just to get it out of the way, at the time of making this review I have not actually completed this game, but it is just so amazing I want to talk about it somewhere. I just love this game, the visuals are honestly top notch, and the gameplay is so fluid yet remaning quite simple. While this is the first time I have ever stepped into a "Souls" genre, I now fully see why so many people love it. The parry mechanic is genuienly top notch and feels so much fun to use. I also absolutely love the side story of Yi growing closer to ShaunShaun throughout the course of the game. If you havent picked up Nine Sols before, I would fully suggest it.

Stardew Valley - Overview & Review Genre: Farming Simulation, RPG Overview: After finally becoming bored of the city life you decide to venture out to your grandfathers old farm in Stardew Valley to take up a new life Rough Playtime: 264.9 hours Rarest Achievement: Perfection (1.8% of players) My Review: One of the best cozy games. While in some portions like being deep in the mines, or when you are getting close to the end of the season may be a bit stressful, over all Stardew Valley is an extremely easy going game where you can go at your own pace the entire time. You get to meet the lovely inhabitants of the valley and absolutely screw over the coperate entity that is Joja mart.

Ritual of Raven - Overview & Review Genre: Farming Simulation, Block Coding Overview: You are suddenly brought into a portal into a new land full of magic where you are tasked with finding out how to contorl the portals so that you can go home Rough Playtime: 37.3 hours Rarest Achievement: ...Another Persons Treasure (5.2% of players) My Review: I honestly feel like this game is like Stardew Valley, but for people who really like Hour of Code, or Scratch, or any other block coding program similar to that. Throughout the course of the game you go on various quests trying to find these legendary portal masters, which do take a lot of time becuase you need to grow different plants, or plants in specific moon phases, but there are more than enough side quests with all of the different townsfolk so that it almost never feels like you are just waiting around for time to pass. There is also a gay relationship in the game which makes me very happy.

Terraria - Overview & Review Genre: Sandbox, Action-Adventure Overview: You are suddenly plopped into the strange and wonderful land of terraria, and it is your job to rid the world of its evils and bring peace to the land Rough Playtime: 326.6 hours Rarest Achievement: And Good Riddance! (2.5% of players) My Review: Terraria is an amazing game, and that is clear to see that it has been relevent for almost 10 years now and has still been recieving updates and crossovers despite the devs trying to kill off the game several times now. The boss and enemy design is fantastic, there is plenty of variation between the four classes, and just so many different NPCs for you to encounter that the fandom is definitly normal about.
